DOORS & HARDWARE
Doors that stick, sag, rattle or just don't work right
Door, frame, knob, hinge and hardware problems don't always need a major contractor. Show us what's wrong and we'll determine what it should take.
How the monthly visit works
- 01
Agree on the list
We set a base checklist together: filters, softener salt, smoke detectors, doorknobs, bulbs, or whatever your home needs most.
- 02
About an hour, each month
The same routine tasks get handled on a regular schedule, so they stop piling up.
- 03
Room for small extras
A loose cabinet hinge or a sticky door can often fit into the visit. Bigger jobs get their own estimate first.
Door, frame and hardware repairs
Tell us where the door catches, whether it closes and latches, and when the trouble started. A photo of the whole door and close-ups of the hinges, frame or damaged hardware help us assess the repair.

Tell us about your project
Describe what needs doing and attach photos if you can. Many small jobs can be estimated from photos alone.

Help for seniors aging in place
Small changes can make a home easier to live in for years. Adult children often reach out on behalf of a parent; that is welcome, just tell us in the form.
- Grab bars near tubs, showers and toilets
- Sturdy handrails on stairs and steps
- Lever-style door hardware
- Better lighting where it is dim
- Thresholds and loose rugs that catch feet
Common questions
Can you help with pocket doors and attic access doors?+
These are among the household door repairs we consider. Show the full opening, the hardware and the problem area. If parts are inaccessible or the repair needs an in-person assessment, we will explain that before quoting.
Does a sticking door need a new frame?+
Not necessarily. A loose hinge or hardware adjustment may be enough, but damage or a frame that is out of square can need a closer look. We will discuss what we find rather than promise a simple fix from a photograph.
What does the $99 monthly visit include?+
Plans start at $99 a month for a visit of about one hour. Together we agree on a base checklist, such as the furnace filter, softener salt, smoke detector checks, doorknobs and light bulbs, and leave room for small extras when time allows. Materials like filters and salt are discussed with you separately, and larger repairs are quoted on their own.
Can you give me a price from photos?+
Often, yes. Clear photos and a short description let us estimate many small jobs remotely. Some work, like hidden rot, door frames that are out of square or anything behind a wall, needs a quick look in person first. When that is the case we will tell you plainly before quoting.
Do I have to sign up for the monthly plan to book a single job?+
No. One-time handyman jobs and punch lists are welcome. Send the details through the form and we will follow up.
Where do you work?+
Indianapolis and the surrounding Greater Indianapolis communities. Add your address in the form and we will confirm we can reach you.
